This was version 3, where I really went off the rails. I elected to do it in the style of George Herriman's Krazy Kat, probably because of that comic's high standing amongst the surrealist works of the 20th century. Lines of dialogue are liberally taken from the play and one is even from the Jim Jarmusch movie, The Limits of Control, which I thought was appropos. I did a lot of playing with the fonts and panel types in order to illustrate the different tones and moods that can be set in comics, as part of the lecture that these comics were all a part of to begin with. How Brechtian!
